I started Cursor IT to provide home users and small businesses across Gold Coast with a straightforward, personal alternative to large corporate IT providers. When your computer crashes, Wi-Fi drops, or printers refuse to connect, you don't want to wait on hold with a call center or get locked into high monthly contracts.

$70 (Inc. GST) for the 1st hour (minimum 1 hour, includes standard travel time & GST), then only $40/hr (Inc. GST) for subsequent hours.

All prices include GST and standard travel time (minimum 1 hour charge). Limited time offer: First hour is $70 (Inc. GST, down from $80), then $40/hr thereafter. 4-hour block available for $180 (Inc. By engaging the services of Cursor IT (operated by Amer Akhtar, "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Cursor IT provides break/fix IT support, networking, cloud, Microsoft 365, and related technology services to businesses primarily in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. Services may be provided on-site or remotely.
All work is performed on a quoted or hourly basis. A verbal or written acceptance of a quote constitutes agreement to proceed. We reserve the right to provide estimates based on initial assessment; actual costs may vary if scope changes.
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer, cash, and card payments. Overdue accounts may attract a late payment fee of 10% per month. Retainer agreements are invoiced monthly in advance.
Cursor IT will take all reasonable care when performing services. However, we are not liable for any data loss, business interruption, or consequential damages arising from services rendered. Clients are advised to maintain current backups of all data prior to any service engagement.
We treat all client data and business information with strict confidentiality. We do not access, share, or store client data beyond what is required to perform the agreed services.
Appointments cancelled with less than 4 hours' notice may incur a $55 cancellation fee. No-shows will be charged the full minimum call-out fee.
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved through Queensland courts.
